two streams
- · Significant Business History Stream: This stream is for high-caliber or high net worth business owners or part owners who are looking to do and develop business in Australia.
- · Venture Capital Entrepreneur Stream: This stream is for for individuals who have sourced venture capital funding from a member of the Australian Venture Capital Association Limited (AVCAL)
The basic requirements for the Business Talent (Permanent) visa
(subclass 132) are:
- · For Significant Business History Stream: You must have net business and personals assets which worth to at least AUD 1.5 million and the annual business turnover must be at least AUD 3 million.
- · For Venture Capital Entrepreneur Stream: You must have obtained at least AUD 1 million in venture capital funding intended to start the commercialization and development of a high-value business idea in Australia.
As mentioned earlier the Business Talent (Permanent) visa
(subclass 132) is a permanent residence visa and lets you and any other member
of your family who has also been granted this visa enjoy the following
facilities:
- · You can stay and work in Australia indefinitely
- · You can study and pursue higher education in Australia
- · You can get enrolled in Medicare, which is Australia’s state –run health care scheme for health related care and expenses
- · If eligible you can apply for Australian citizenship
- · You can sponsor eligible relatives for permanent residence
- For five years from the date the visa was granted you can travel in and out of Australia innumerable times. After five years you will need a resident return visa or another visa to return to Australia.
