Business Talent (Permanent) visa (subclass 132): An overview

The Business Talent (Permanent) visa (subclass 132) has two streams

  • ·         For Significant Business History Stream: You must have net business and personals assets which worth to at least  AUD 1.5 million and the annual business turnover must be at least AUD 3 million.

  • ·         For Venture Capital Entrepreneur Stream: You must have obtained at least AUD 1 million in venture capital funding intended to start the commercialization and development of a high-value business idea in Australia.


As mentioned earlier the Business Talent (Permanent) visa (subclass 132) is a permanent residence visa and lets you and any other member of your family who has also been granted this visa enjoy the following facilities:

  • ·         You can stay and work in Australia indefinitely

  • ·         You can study and pursue higher education in Australia

  • ·         You can get enrolled in Medicare, which is Australia’s state –run health care scheme for health related care and expenses

  • ·         If eligible you can apply for Australian citizenship

  • ·         You can sponsor eligible relatives for permanent residence

  • For five years from the date the visa was granted you can travel in and out of Australia innumerable times. After five years you will need a resident return visa or another visa to return to Australia.

Student visa (subclass 500)



Eligibility

·         Been accepted to study full-time in a registered course at an educational institution in Australia

Student guardian visa (subclass 590)

It’s for someone to accompany the student to provide care and support when:
·         If  the student visa holder is below 18 years of age
·       The student visa holder is above 18 years of age but needs care and support  due to exceptional circumstances.

Training visa (subclass 407)

This visa allows you, on a temporary basis, to take part in various workplace based training or professional development training program in Australia
